Going the extra mile at night...

...to enjoy the next morning.  I am usually 90/10 on this and I can fall asleep better knowing my kitchen is clean.  The play room needs to be picked up but not "cleaned" daily.  There are things I let slide because even though I am a bit OCD, I'm not crazy!  But there is a peaceful, awakening feeling of walking into a spotless kitchen at 5:30 am with coffee brewed and clean dishes in the washer.  Nothing left of the day before, but a clean slate for the day.

Now, it is rare that I can get up before Averie, she really likes early mornings too.  And my husband gets up at 4:30 am to go to his CrossFit class (he's crazy) before work, but sometimes, I get a few moments to myself and it is the best way to start the day!  I do the Love God Greatly bible study, which is an online women's bible study group that I just love and you can go to their website here to read more about it!  It's Monday through Friday for 6-8 weeks at a time.  I just love those women!

Even though I get teased by some of my friends about my Daily Clean list, I use it everyday.  I found it on Pinterest and it's the only one that has work perfectly for me.  It's easy and attainable and keeps my house in check.  It also helps me to focus on what needs done to maintain sanity, especially with a tornado named Averie!  I have finally gotten myself into a routine that works morning and night.  It feels wonderful to have clarity in my household and my husband loves coming home to a maintained household to enjoy his family!

This is how I do it, somedays are harder than others but this is what keeps me focused and ready to serve my family everyday! How do you maintain your household?  Any tips for me?  Let me know!

In Love and Chaos,

Megan
